The Algerian defender, Abdelkader Badran, is close to joining the list of Tunisian Esperance team preparing to face Zamalek in the second leg of the 8th African Champions League.
The Tunisian Esperance team will host Zamalek next Friday at Rades Stadium, after the first match between the two teams ended with the White Castle winning 3-1.
The Tunisian “Mouazik” radio website indicated that the Algerian international, Abdelkader Badran, is physically ready to face Zamalek in the Champions League, after he resumed team exercises with the team on Monday.
And Badran suffered a missed injury after that for a period of 3 weeks, as the player did not participate in the two Esperance matches against Zamalek in the African Super Championship and the first leg of the quarter-finals of the African Champions League, the two meetings in which the Tunisian team was defeated against Zamalek.
Badran is one of the most important pillars of the Esperance team this season, after the player joined the Tunisian team from ES Setif in Algeria in the summer of 2019.
Abdelkader Badran participated with Esperance in 17 games in various local and continental championships during this season.
Algerian reports indicated that Jamel Belmadi, the coach of the Algerian national team, put Abdelkader Badran on his list of choices on more than one occasion before, but injuries prevented the player from joining the Greens in previous periods.
It is noteworthy that Badran has only one international match with the Algerian national team, which he played in December of 2018.
