Eriksen Fainted, Denmark vs Finland Stopped

Danish national team midfielder Christian Eriksen passed out at the end of the first half against Finland in Euro 2020 at Parken Stadium, Saturday (12/6) night. Denmark vs Finland duel has been suspended.

The match between Denmark and Finland went on a lot. Denmark dominated the game by firing 12 shots, with 4 of them on target into the Finnish goal.

However, towards the end of the first half, a terrible incident occurred. Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen suddenly fell on the field.

Eriksen was unconscious as he was about to receive the ball thrown into his teammate. The Inter Milan player looked shaky before receiving the ball.

When Eriksen tried to control the ball, the former Tottenham Hotspur player immediately collapsed on the field. The medical team immediately came and tried to provide help.

After more than 15 minutes, on the pitch, Eriksen was picked up and carried into the stadium by the medical team. Players from Denmark and Finland also entered the dressing room.

However, the Denmark vs Finland first round match at Euro 2020 is not considered over. UEFA said the duel was postponed.

“The UEFA EURO 2020 match in Copenhagen has been suspended due to a medical emergency,” UEFA said in a statement.
