Erdogan to open an international airport in Nagorno-Karabakh

The opening of a new international airport on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh will take place on October 26.

The first international airport was built in Nagorno-Karabakh – it will be opened on October 26 by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. About it informs Daily Sabah on Monday 25 October.

“Fizuli International Airport, the first airport built by Azerbaijan on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh liberated from occupation, will be commissioned on October 26,” it was reported.

It is noted that Erdogan will come to Azerbaijan with a one-day visit.

Recall that earlier Armenia initiated legal proceedings against Azerbaijan in the UN International Court of Justice. The proceedings concern Nagorno-Karabakh and are based on the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
