Erdogan says two pandemic hospitals are to be built in Istanbul.


Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Monday that two hospitals with a capacity of 1,000 beds each are being built in Istanbul – the epicenter of the country’s coronavirus cases – to treat infected patients.

In Turkey, 649 coronavirus-related deaths and 30,217 cases were recorded, according to official data released on Monday.
