Epstein Files: Contacts with Powerful Figures Revealed

by Lucas Fernandez – World Editor

New Epstein Files Name Elon Musk, Prince Andrew Amid Calls for⁤ Further Disclosure

Newly released documents related to Jeffrey ⁣Epstein’s criminal activity reveal ‌interactions with Elon Musk and Prince Andrew, adding to a growing list of prominent figures connected to the disgraced‍ financier. The files detail a planned meeting between Musk and Epstein in 2015, and multiple references to⁣ Prince Andrew, including travel arrangements.

The documents do not‌ suggest those mentioned were aware of Epstein’s alleged ⁤criminal activity. Epstein died by suicide in⁤ a New York ⁣jail cell in August 2019 while awaiting trial on ⁤sex trafficking charges.

Epstein first reached a plea deal with prosecutors in 2008 after being accused of molesting‍ a 14-year-old⁣ girl at his Palm Beach home. He was later arrested again in July 2019 on sex trafficking charges.

The release of‌ these files has sparked renewed ⁢calls for transparency. Sara guerrero, a spokesperson for the democrats on the committee overseeing the⁣ document release, urged Attorney General Pam Bondi⁢ to ⁢release more related materials.”It should be clear to every ⁣American‌ that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest ‍men in⁢ the⁤ world. Every new document produced provides ‌new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims,”⁢ she said.

Republicans on the committee countered the Democrats’ statements, accusing them of “putting politics ‍over victims” and promising to release the ⁣full set of documents in the near future.

The released files also mention planned meetings with other high-profile individuals, including Peter thiel (November 2017) and Steve Bannon (February 17, 2019). A December 2014 entry references tentative plans‌ for a breakfast party with Microsoft founder bill Gates, who later told the BBC that meeting Epstein had⁤ been a “mistake.”
