Through a statement, it was announced that on September 1, Andrés Felipe Uribe Mesa, took office as the new Vice President of Risks of EPM, before the General Manager of the entity -Álvaro Guillermo Rendón López-.
Uribe is a lawyer from Eafit University, with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), from the same Institution. Additionally, he is ERM-Corporate Risk Management, of the International Quality & Productivity Center of Brazil and has multiple courses and seminars on risk management and compliance.
In addition, the new Vice President of Risks is a specialist in Risk Management and Insurance in the company, of the Mapfre Foundation in association with the University of Salamanca, Spain.
Also, Uribe has served as Operations Manager of JEU Seguros, a company specialized in advising on comprehensive risk and insurance management; and Head of the Éxito Group’s Risks, Insurance and Litigation Department.
