Buchholz / Nordheide (dpa / lni) – With the founding of the Innovation Agency Northeast Lower Saxony, ten districts of the former district of Lüneburg want to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises. The goals of the agency, based in Buchholz in der Nordheide (Harburg district), are better access to funding opportunities and the transfer of knowledge and technology, as announced Thursday by the Cuxhaven district.
The agency wants to be an intermediary between the business development agencies of the districts of Celle, Cuxhaven, Harburg, Heidekreis, Lüneburg, Osterholz, Rotenburg (Wümme), Stade, Uelzen and Verden and the companies. Topics include digitization and climate efficiency. Various projects will be hosted under the umbrella of the new agency, such as cooperation in the field of the hydrogen economy. The transfer of knowledge and technologies is free for companies.
