Entering Indonesia, the Sony A7S Mark III camera sells for IDR 51 million

A7S Mark III can record 4K video with sensitivity levels up to ISO 409,600 and frame rates up to 120 fps. Sony also equipped it with the capability of HLD HDR 10-bit 4: 2: 2 video on the camera, or 16-bit RAW video on an external recorder via HDMI.

According to Sony, the A7S Mark III has a dynamic range of more than 15 stops. Supported color profiles include S-Gamut, S-Gamut 3, and S-Gamut3.Cine. There is also support for the XAVC HS video format with the more efficient H.265 codec.

The A7S Mark III autofocus system relies on 759 phase-detect AF points covering 92 percent of the frame area. The burst speed that can be produced is 10 frames per second, with an eye AF feature that can be used in both photo and video modes.

Like the previous A7S Mark II, the A7S Mark III sensor has a 5-axis In-Body Image Stabilizer (IBIS) system which is said to be capable of producing up to 5.5 stops of shake compensation.

For the first time in Sony’s line of full frame mirrorless cameras, the A7S Mark III features a 3-inch touch screen with a fully articulated hinge that swings sideways and can be rotated in any direction, including facing forward.

The Electronic Viewfinder has a resolution as high as 9.44 MP with an OLED panel. Not to forget, there are two card slots, each of which can be fitted with an SDXC / SDHC UHS-II or CFexpress type A memory card.

The A7S Mark III now uses NP-FZ100 batteries such as the A7 Mark III and A7R Mark III. Its durability is claimed to be up to 60 percent longer than the A7S Mark II battery.

The Sony A7S Mark III will be available in November 2020 at a price of IDR 50,999,000 and can be ordered pre-order from 25 September-11 October at all Sony Authorized Dealers.
