Abdel Nasser Mohamed, director of football at Enppi club, confirmed that the Petroleum Club’s board of directors will renew its position on canceling the wipes, adding that there have been no negotiations on the ground by Zamalek to include Nigerian striker John Ibuka.
During telephone statements to the “B Ontime” program broadcast on the “On Time Sport” channel, Nasser Muhammad said: “It is natural that the federation is the one who organizes the game and the country that manages the system bears the cost.”
He continued: “During the past period, many clubs were unable to fulfill their obligations to the players, and they reduced wages. The championship sponsor himself stopped paying due to the Corona pandemic and his fear of not completing the league.”
He added, “Today, the cost of the wipes is added, I do not think that these resources are in the clubs’ safes.”
Regarding Enppi’s official position, the team’s football director said: “The club’s official position is determined by the club’s board of directors.”
And he continued: “This decision will make the clubs unite and join hands on one front, to what is beyond the wipes.”
Regarding Zamalek’s negotiations with the Nigerian, John Ibuka, the Enppi player, said: “There has been no talk on the ground. The player has been with us for 3 seasons.”
When asked whether Enppi negotiated Salah Mohsen during the winter Mercato, he replied: “Yes, it was negotiated last January, but things did not take place.”
