Red Bull Salzburg is facing the next high-profile exit: Enock Mwepu has received a concrete offer from Premier League club Brighton. The cops have previously confirmed that the player is no longer in training because of this.
Mwepu’s move to Brighton is nearing completion. According to Sussexlive, the transfer fee is 23 million euros.
Brighton was only 16th in the previous Premier League season, but under coach Graham Potter they sometimes showed very attractive football. Key players include Yves Bissouma (midfielder), Neal Maupay (striker) and Ben White and Lewis Dunk (both defense).
Most recently, the Mwepu was associated with Borussia Dortmund – as is well known, Mwepu’s ex-coach Marco Rose started his next adventure there.
The 23-year-old moved from Kafue Celtic FC (Zambia) to Red Bull Salzburg in summer 2017 and has since played 119 games for the Bulls in which he contributed 18 goals and 20 assists.
