Leeds United still has a small chance of qualifying for European football with two matches to go. Marcelo Bielsa’s team booked a great away victory over Burnley on Saturday afternoon: 0-4.
Leeds is doing very well this season. There was no question of degradation stress for last year’s PhD student. Bielsa is doing very well and has not lost to the top clubs. Even European football is still in it, although it seems to be a difficult story with two more games to go. The gap to number eight Everton is three points.
Leeds won very easily on Saturday. Mateusz Klich only scored just before half-time, but after half-time Jack Harrison and Rodrigo Moreno also pulled the trigger (twice). As a result, the final score was set at 0-4.
Leeds needs one more win to be sure of tenth place, although losing points from the competition is also sufficient.
