The VAR is the bitten dog in England on Thursday evening. Manchester United were given a penalty kick in the Premier League game with Aston Villa for an alleged violation of Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese midfielder, according to the referee, was overturned by Ezri Konsa, but the images clearly showed that there was not much going on. In fact, Fernandes himself seems to be making the offense. The fact that the VAR awarded a penalty after seeing the images, leads to a lot of commotion in England.
