[１０日 ロイター] – Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank President John Harker said on Thursday that a default on U.S. Treasuries caused by the political game over the federal debt ceiling and budget deficit would be disastrous.
“If the United States, the world’s major power, defaults on its debts, it will be irreversible. Our competitors and enemies will cheer in the streets,” he said at a conference at the Center for Global Interdependence.
