New business customers will soon receive wind energy from the Netherlands or elsewhere from Europe, or solar energy. Eneco says, together with existing customers who still use so-called gray electricity, electricity from non-sustainable sources, it is looking at how they “can switch as quickly as possible.”
Eneco expects to provide all Dutch business customers with green electricity around 2026. Eneco had set itself the goal of making both the company and the customers’ energy consumption climate neutral by 2035.
Consumers and small business customers have been receiving green energy from Eneco since 2011.
