End of season for Jackson (Grizzlies), injured in a knee – Fil Info – NBA

Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. will miss the remainder of the NBA season after injuring his left knee, a blow to the Memphis club who broke the news on Tuesday. Jackson, 20, suffers from a torn meniscus in his left knee, after a poor reception in the game against the Pelicans on Monday, the club said in a statement. The young American had scored 22 points Monday in the loss of the Grizzlies against New Orleans (109-99). Dazzling for his 2nd NBA season, Jackson has become a key player in Memphis’ quest, currently 8th in the Western Conference, to qualify for the play-offs. If he was running at 17.5 points on average and 4.6 rebounds, Jackson had restarted the season stronger in the Disney bubble in Florida with 25.3 points on average.
