Employees of jewelry chain Lovisa on strike after lack of pay (Hasselt)

On Saturday, the 11 stores of jewelery chain Lovisa in Belgium will remain closed due to a strike action by BBTK and ACLVB. The wage errors keep piling up and employees do not receive compensation or bonuses for overtime. Dire situations such as employees who can no longer pay their house rent are the result. Despite repeated attempts at consultation and the involvement of the social inspectorate, the problems persist.
