Al Ain, 9 October / WAM / The Emirates University Science and Innovation Park has launched the first session of a series of training and work workshops entitled “Entrepreneurship Skills”, which will last three days, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Chamber Commerce and Industry, aimed at students of all academic disciplines, presented by Shamma Salem Al Darmaki, specialist for small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The workshop series aims to introduce students to the concept of entrepreneurship and the skills that a person must acquire and be present in a successful entrepreneur.
The introduction of the workshop stated that there is a set of basic skills an entrepreneur needs, which is the process of starting or designing a new project, the need to have the ability and willingness to develop and organize a project, to be brave and intelligent, have creative thinking skills and study the project in all its aspects to start a business.
He stressed the importance of identifying the basic skills an entrepreneur must possess to achieve success, namely the ability to plan, communicate effectively, possess leadership experience, manage priorities and make decisions.
