New York, February 6 / WAM / US stock indices fell during today’s trading, with the “NASDAQ” index falling below the level of 12,000 points, continuing its decline for the second consecutive session.
The “Standard & Poor’s 500” index decreased by 0.65 percent, or the equivalent of 27 points, to reach 4109.43 points, by 06:44 pm Emirates time.
The “Nasdaq” index, which was dominated by technology stocks, declined by 92.67 points, or 0.79 percent, to 11912.55 points.
The Dow Jones industrial index fell by 0.5 percent, equivalent to 163.27 points, to reach the level of 33,762.74 points.
