DUBAI, 8th December, 2020 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, said that the sports sector in the UAE is reaping the fruits of the wise leadership’s vision and approach in building the country and adopting excellence in the various sectors and in all qualitative initiatives and projects that are being carried out, aims to qualify national cadres according to the highest standards and to attract the best elements in the various disciplines.

His Highness also emphasized the continuation of holding more sporting events and tournaments consistent with the nature of development witnessed by the various regions of Dubai, and that sport features among the new initiatives taking place in Dubai, including “Countrysides and Wildlands” of Dubai adopted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect it”, as part of the comprehensive plan for its development, which includes 2,216 square kilometers of natural areas , with great prospects for development and growth.
