Emirates News Agency – “Emirates Creativity” discusses launching the second edition of the Social Media Ambassador Award

SHARJAH, 30th January, 2020 (WAM) — The Emirates Creativity Association, during its meeting chaired by Sheikh Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, President of the Association, discussed the results of the first session of the Social Media Ambassador Award, which was organized by the Association last December, with the participation of elite pioneers and influencers of social media in the UAE.

Sheikh Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi said that the first edition of the award succeeded in achieving its desired goals, pointing to the expansion of the award in its next edition in terms of categories and geographical scope to include the largest number of social media, as well as the development and modification of some award criteria.

During the meeting, the board of directors of the association was briefed by the arbitrators’ committee on the results of evaluating the award’s candidates, where a set of proposals, constructive opinions, and improvement opportunities were presented that would reflect positively on raising the level of the award and the possibility of expanding it in the Gulf and Arab countries in the coming years.

Sheikh Khaled Al Qasimi expressed his thanks to the members of the organizing committee and the team of arbitrators for their great efforts and constructive cooperation, which resulted in the success of the first edition of the award.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Faisal Shaheen Al-Hammadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for the Award, Hajar Al-Essa, Secretary-General of the Emirates Creativity Association, along with Dr. Jassim Mirza, Chairman of the Award Arbitration Committee, Dr. Fouad Al-Shuaibi, Dr. Mona Salman and Dr. Mukhaled Al-Hawamdeh, members of the Arbitration Committee, in addition to the association’s secretary, Walid Al-Haj Hamad, and Rasha Najeeb, Director of the Institutional Support Department.
