Emily Maynard‘s Daughter, Ricki, Is Expecting a Baby
Former “Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard is becoming a grandmother as her 20-year-old daughter, Ricki Hendrick, announced her pregnancy. The news comes just over a year after Maynard publicly expressed intense worry over Ricki’s well-being, briefly alarming fans with a social media post about “missing” her daughter.
Maynard, who rose to fame on the ABC reality show and later married Tyler Johnson, has spoken openly about her close bond with Ricki, her oldest child. The impending arrival of Maynard’s first grandchild marks a new chapter for the family, and highlights the evolving dynamics of motherhood across generations.
While Ricki was undergoing a period of adjustment at college, she demonstrated her caring nature by praying for her newborn brother while he was in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), according to an interview Maynard gave to People magazine. “she’s been my best buddy through everything,” Maynard said.

Last year, Maynard briefly worried fans with an Instagram post expressing intense longing for Ricki, writing, “I love you all the way to heaven.” She quickly clarified hours later that Ricki was “alive and well at college!”
