Rome, 27 January 2020 – It was a long night in Emilia Romagna is Calabria for the regional elections 2020. And the verdicts are now outlined, with i results which update from minute to minute and which you can follow below in real time. In Emilia-Romagna the outgoing governor wins Stefano Bonaccini (center-left), which collects 51.4% of the consensus (4,485 out of 4,520 scrutinized sections). The candidate of the center-right Lucia Borgonzoni instead it stops at 43.6%. Only 3.47% of preferences instead for the pentastellato Simone Benini.
An interesting figure emerges from the coalitions: that of the center-left is at 48.7%, that of the center-right at 45.5%. Bonaccini would also have been awarded the prize separate vote and the ‘dry’ preference towards the center-left candidate. As for the lists, the Pd and the first party at 34.59%, follows the League, at 31.9%. Fdi is 8.6%, Bonaccini president 5.8%, 5 Star Movement 3.4%, Forza Italia 2.7%.

Calabria
Very large victory of the center-right in Calabria. triumphs Jole Santelli (center-right) which with 2,234 sections scrutinized out of 2,420 receives 55.3% of the consents, while Filippo Callipo (‘civic’ candidate supported by the Democratic Party and a center-left list) stops at 30.2%. The other two protagonists of the four-way race are very detached: Francesco Aiello, supported by the Cinquestelle Movement, is at 7.3% while Carlo Tansi, supported by three civic lists, is 7.1%.
Despite Callipo’s defeat the Democratic Party remains the first party with 15.8%, follows Forza Italia (12.58) while the league halves the consensus (12.21), which at the European Championships eight months ago had obtained 22.6%. Fratelli d’Italia instead obtained 11.14%. Here too the 5 Star Movement collapses, which collects 6.2%.

Already with the results of theaffluence there was a first trend of the electoral round: exploits in Emilia Romagna, where at 11pm (final figure) 67.67% went to vote with a growth of about 30 points. Percentage of voters that is similar to previous elections, however, in Calabria, where it stops at 44.32% against 44.16% in previous elections. The regional elections, especially as regards Emilia-Romagna, they were indicated as “decisive” for the future of government.
