Emergency until December? The government will decide on Tuesday

According to earlier statements by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (YES) and the outgoing Minister of Health Roman Prymula (for YES), the state of emergency should be extended by one month, ie until the beginning of December.

According to Prymula, the current measures should be maintained for about the same period. Due to the fact that the situation in the Czech Republic is still deteriorating, there will probably be even greater restrictions.

Prime Minister Babiš said in a video published on YouTub on Sunday that if a miracle does not happen, the government will have to tighten measures against the spread of coronavirus. He also again called on the public to abide by the restrictions.

According to him, the current measures, which have only been in force since Thursday, have many exceptions. In this way, people associate in activities that are not prohibited.
