Meanwhile, Daihatsu’s showroom (which serves car sales) will implement 100% work from home during Emergency PPKM. However, the Daihatsu workshop remains open by reducing the number of mechanics serving.
“At the Daihatsu outlet, the showroom (dealer) is 100% Work From Home (WFH). For workshops because they support strategic industries, they remain open, but only 25 percent of mechanics serve,” said Marketing and Corporate Planning & Communication Director Daihatsu Astra Motor, Amelia Tjandra.
Honda is the same. According to the Business Innovation and Sales & Marketing Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor, Yusak Billy, the Honda repair shop has received a license to operate for Emergency PPKM.
“Basically, our workshops that are licensed to operate will continue to operate to serve consumers. Of course, by following strict health protocols and the number of employees who enter following government regulations,” Billy said to detikcom, Monday (5/7/2021).
As for sales, Honda focuses on selling via digital or online platforms.
