Emergency Medicine moved to the fourth floor of the Central Pavilion

The transfer of Emergency Medicine to the fourth floor of the Central pavilion (pavilion 6) begins on Thursday 24 September. The ward, an integral part of the complex structure of First Aid and Emergency Medicine, welcomes patients who need prolonged observation, prolonged therapy, or a diagnostic study, and will be fully operational in the new headquarters starting from Friday. 25. The new location will make it possible to free up the spaces on the sixth floor of the East Wing (hall 5), for the restart of the Day Surgery, Breast Surgery and Ophthalmology hospitalization activities, after the complete sanitation of the rooms.
The medical staff of the ward, led by manager Gianluigi Mossini, will inform patients and families of the move while the health management of the University Hospital of Parma has reorganized the internal paths in order to minimize inconvenience for the structure.
The telephone numbers for emergency medicine contacts and the three short stays – Day surgery, Breast Surgery and Ophthalmology, will not undergo any changes.
