Apple announces it satellite emergency calls It’s now available for all four iPhone 14 models, but you need to be in the US or Canada.
The feature film will hit the UK, Ireland, France and Germany in December, but it will be a while before it appears in Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.
Satellite Emergency Calling was featured at Apple’s September event, and in North America they chose to partner with Globalstar, a company that has ground stations in Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
In perfect conditions, it takes 15 seconds to send the emergency call, but if there are obstacles, it may take longer.
