A “dreadful phrase” to Bradley Cooper
“I came back to La Palette one day, a cafe in Paris that I love, and I see Bradley Cooper. I sit next to him, I was with an American girlfriend, so we sit down ”, started Elsa Zylberstein admiring the actor. “I was in all my states and I said to him: ‘Are you Bradley Cooper?’. He says ‘Yes’ with perfect French ”, she continues. The scene will then take a funny turn when the actress will launch an “excruciating phrase” to Bradley Cooper. “We start talking. […] At that time, I was in the theater, I was super tired and I said this huge sentence to her: ‘No but normally I am much prettier than that!’ ”, She says, bursting out laughing. “It’s never the right time when you meet someone you admire. You always say to yourself: ‘Ah, why I did not make my color, I am poorly dressed, I am much better makeup normally …’ You are never at the top level ”, launched Elsa Zylberstein who used this moment of solitude to inspire a comic scene from the film.
