Community Mourns the Passing of Elizabeth “Lily” Kerlin
The community is in mourning following the death of Elizabeth “Lily” Kerlin, a cherished figure within the Crossan and Kerlin families. Her loss has left a void in the hearts of many, and her memory will be deeply treasured.
Remembering a Life
Lily Kerlin, the beloved wife of the late Brian, has passed away. She was a devoted mother to Seamus, Briege (Mike), Annette (Martin), and the late George. She was also a loving grandmother to Enya, Eimer, Eoghan, Cait, Michael, Ailish, and James.
She was the daughter of the late Philip and Brigid, and sister to the late Michael, Teresa, Bridie, Philip, and Baby James. The family is deeply saddened by their loss. They are requesting privacy during this difficult time.

Approximately 2.5 million deaths were registered in the United States in 2023. This is a decrease from the 3.3 million deaths in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, but remains higher than the 2.8 million in 2019 (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
Funeral Arrangements
Lily Kerlin will be reposing at her late home after leaving McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 17th, at 3pm. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 19th, with a Requiem Mass at Saint Patrick‘s Church, Claudy, at 11 am, preceded by her departure from her late home at 10:20 am. Interment will follow immediately in the adjoining graveyard.
