Joacim Jonsson can not understand why Rosenborg picks up Pa Konate from level two in Sweden.
– It’s one of the sickest things I’ve experienced, says Eurosport expert Joacim Jonsson about Rosenborg’s signing of Pa Konate, in the latest episode of the podcast Inner Lane.
Jonsson further says that he has contacted several footballers in Sweden to hear their thoughts on the transfer and claims everyone is as shocked as he is.

Swedish Expressen mentions Konate as one of the best defenders in the Superettan after the transfer to Jönköping Södra. Jonsson is not as convinced.
– He’s done just fine. He played for Sundsvall last year and did not get much playing time there. He got nothing further there when they moved down and went to Jönköpings Södra in the summer. It has been a long time since he delivered, says Jonsson.
The Swedish Eurosport expert is convinced that Konate has been offered to all clubs at the top two levels in Norway and Sweden.

Now he gets the chance in Rosenborg.
– We’ll see. We can only hope that he, for his own sake, finds his way back to 2015 form, but no matter how you twist and turn it, it is strange. It is a very strange signing anyway, but they will definitely get more backs, says Jonsson.
Rosenborg’s sports manager Micke Dorsin did not respond to Nettavisen’s inquiries on Wednesday.
Swedish journalist disagrees
Nidaros has spoken with the Swedish journalist Magnus Sundvall in the Jönköping post. He does not share Jonsson’s views on RBK’s new signing.

Konate gets suit number 25 in Rosenborg and is ready to play for the match against Strømsgodset on Sunday.
