On the sidelines of the ninth session of the Luxor Festival of African Cinema, we had a quick meeting with the artist Ilham Shaheen, in which she spoke about her latest cinematic work, which will be an important and controversial film.
The artist Ilham Shaheen revealed that she will discuss in her new movie “Curfew” the issue of adultery, because it is one of the issues that are not tolerated, noting that the film is keen to present the case in a way that does not offend modesty.
Shaheen confirmed in exclusive statements to FilFan.com that a “curfew” expires filming in only two days, which makes it soon to be shown.

Ilham Shaheen added that she is naturally inclined towards women’s issues, explaining that at the first opportunity she is able to reassemble enough money during the coming period, she will repeat the production experience and embrace another feminist cause, stressing that she has amassed her wealth of art and will spend it on art.

The movie “A Day For Women” was the last cinematic work of the artist Ilham Shaheen, and it was presented in 2016, directed by Kamila Abu Zekri and written by Hana Attia, and co-starred with Farouk al-Fishawi, Mahmoud Hamida and Hala Sedky.
