Portugal registered this Thursday more than three thousand daily cases, with the concrete number of 3,270 infections, the highest value ever, since the pandemic arrived in the country in March 2020. The total number of cases now stands at 109,541 . The North region is the most affected in the number of new cases, with 1954 infections today, 545 in the last 24 hours.

A Denmark today recorded a record 760 new daily cases of covid-19, while the government plans to tighten restrictions to contain the spread of the virus. The progression is fast: on Monday the number of new cases in the last 24 hours was around 450, on Wednesday it had reached 630.
