- At least two years of experience in the electric power sector, with focused experience in areas such as wholesale and retail electricity markets, electricity procurement and contracting, or commodity trading.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in renewable energy resource advancement and/or procurement, battery energy storage system development and/or procurement, environmental or sustainability, finance, or a similar field.
- Advanced certifications and/or a graduate-level degree (master’s or doctoral) in a relevant specialty.
- experience managing projects and/or program
budgets
. - Strong analytical capabilities, including managing large datasets, completing forecast analysis, and statistics.
- Experience with statistical analysis and forecasting tools such as python, R, anaconda, as well as proficiency in Excel or other data modeling/analysis software.

Important Restrictions
To ensure impartiality and avoid conflicts of interest, the Electricity Supply Analyst is subject to certain restrictions:
- The analyst is prohibited from owning, directly or indirectly, 5% or more of the voting capital stock of an electric utility, independent power producer, power marketer, or option retail electric supplier.
- The analyst cannot be in any chain of successive ownership of 5% or more of the voting capital stock of any such entity.
- The analyst is barred from receiving any form of compensation from these entities, with exceptions for compensation received pursuant to a defined benefit plan or other form of deferred compensation after severing all ties.
