According to the Electricity Market Operator, at the end of August the group supplied electricity to over 600,000 customers, and gas to less than 300,000. Bohemia Energy stated that clients do not have to worry about being left without energy. Deliveries will be provided by the so-called supplier of last resort, ie the main supplier in the given distribution area.
According to the announcement, Bohemia Energy is looking for a solution for clients of Amper Market, which also belongs to the group. The company stated that the priority of the entire group is now to provide cooperation to customers in the transition to a new supplier and find the most suitable solution for them. They can still use contact infolines or e-mails and at the same time the websites of individual companies are continuously updated with all the necessary information, the company said.

Babiš: The government is working on how to minimize the impact
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (YES) said that government representatives have been dealing with the situation surrounding the closure of Bohemia Energy since Tuesday, and negotiations continue on Wednesday. Babiš discusses the matter with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry Karel Havlíček (for YES), Deputy Minister René Neděla, representatives of the Energy Regulatory Office, and talked with ČEZ CEO Daniel Beneš.
According to Babiš, there were signals that the company was in trouble. The Prime Minister considers it important that electricity supplies are not endangered in the current timeframe, but there is a need to address how to minimize the financial impact on people.

Suppliers become more expensive by tens of percent
Wholesale electricity and gas prices have recently risen to record highs, with some supplier price lists rising by tens of percent or even multiply. In addition to the impact on consumers, the situation has caused problems for some suppliers.
A few days ago, Bohemia Energy also left the Slovak market, where its company Slovakia Energy had about 300,000 consumption points. She justified this precisely by the development of wholesale energy prices and also by state price regulation. Customers of the local Slovakia Energy can also choose a new supplier, or the provision of supplies will be taken over by law from designated companies, which are the largest players on the market.
