TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance) will take electric vehicle incentive funds from the State General Treasurer’s (BUN) budget to be added to the ministries/institutions’ (k/l) budget posts.
“We will find a budget for the BUN which we can then transfer to the K/L budget,” said Director General of Budget of the Ministry of Finance Isa Rachmatarwata in a statement. media briefing in Jakarta, Tuesday 7 March 2023.
The Ministry of Finance hopes that after the budget allocation, the implementation of the electricity incentives can run smoothly and utilize all the funds that have been provided.
The Indonesian government will provide assistance as a battery-based electric motor vehicle incentive for electric motorcycles in the amount of IDR 7 million per unit which is allocated for 250,000 motorcycle units in 2023.
The 250,000 motorbike units consist of 200,000 units for the purchase of new motorbikes and 50,000 units for the conversion of conventional fossil fuel motorcycles into electric motorbikes.
