The electric train Flirt EPM of the Swiss company Stadler, consisting of five cars, was presented in Kiev. It is reported by LIGA.net.
It is reported that JSC Ukrzaliznytsya plans to purchase such electric trains. The corresponding tender should be announced in the fall. For Kiev, 10-20 such electric trains are needed.
Today Ukraine and Stadler are to sign a memorandum of cooperation. The train was built at the Belarusian plant Stadler CJSC Stadler Minsk.
The train has a speed of 160 km / h, the total number of seats is 262. There are seats of the first and second class, as well as seats for people with disabilities.
Each carriage has two restrooms, under-seat electrical outlets, and braille overlays on the seats.
