An electrical storm recorded after midnight, caused several widespread blackouts in neighborhoods and subdivisions of the city of Veracruz and Boca del Río, even users of Medellín and Soledad de Doblado reported the lack of service distributed by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) .
The power outage was reported by users in the downtown area, subdivisions such as Reforma, Faros and others, the Ávila Camacho Boulevard area and extended to El Coyol, the residential areas of Río Medio, Lomas de Río Medio, Brisas, Herradura and Tejería. .
Other affected neighborhoods are Lázaro Cárdenas, Lomas 4, Poppies, Geo Villas del Puerto, Siglo XXI, Zaragoza, among others. In Boca dek Río, the blackout was recorded in the Manantial neighborhood.
After several hours of the city looking dark, the users themselves reported that the electrical service was restored.
