Elections in Kharkiv – 7 candidates apply for mayor’s office

In Kharkiv on October 31, it is planned to hold the elections of the mayor of the city. At least seven candidates apply for this position, documents can be submitted until September 30.

The Kharkiv City Territorial Election Commission received applications for self-nomination for the post of mayor of the city from:

1. Konstantin Nemichev – Head of the Public Council under the Kharkiv State Administration,
2. Mikhail Dobkin – the former head of the Kharkiv regional administration,
3. Valeria Govorova – Deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council,
4. Dmitry Marinin – Deputy of the Kharkiv City Council,
5. Alexandra Kondrusik – entrepreneur,
6. Igor Terikhov – Secretary of the Kharkiv City Council,
7. Vladimir Pletnev – Deputy of the Kharkiv City Council from the “Party Sharia”.

They were registered.

One of the candidates for mayor of Kharkiv was denied registration. Resident of Kharkov Victor Kemmel refused due to an incomplete package of documents.

The elections will take place on October 31, 2021.
