Elden Ring Leads on the Nominations List

Suara.com – Gamescom 2021 The awards that will be announced soon have a list of potential winners award. Quite interesting, Elden Ring dominate the nomination list because it is included in the potential winners in five categories game different.

An international jury of gaming experts, journalists and content creators nominated titles into 22 categories.

As a result, Elden Ring was included in five nomination categories, namely Best Microsoft Xbox Game, Best PC Game, Best Sony PlayStation Game, Best Action Adventure Game, and Best Role Playing Game.

Gamescom Opening Night Live will start on August 25 at 8 pm CEST (Central European Summer Time) or around 01.00 WIB in the morning.

The opening ceremony will announce the winners of the Best Xbox Game, Best Nintendo Switch Game, Best PC Game and Best PlayStation Game categories.

Most of the winners for the Gamescom 2021 Awards will be announced on August 26 and 27.

Elden Ring’s plethora of nominations suggests that the game may get a new trailer during the event.

Quoted from Screenrant, some of the most anticipated titles such as Far Cry 6, Halo Infinite, and Elden Ring are also nominees for the Best Microsoft Xbox Game award.

Elden Ring competes with Encased and Tales of Arise in the Best Role Playing Games. This title made by FromSoftware is also included in the Best PC Games category where it competes with Age of Empires IV and Syberia: The World Before.

We already know a bit of gameplay from Elden Ring in the second quarter of 2021. Some screenshots regarding the game have also appeared in early August.

Many have high expectations for the Elden Ring storyline considering that this project involves George RR Martin, a novelist who was successful with Game of Thrones.

Not only that, George RR Martin will work closely with Hidetaka Miyazaki, director of well-known games from the Souls series such as Dark Souls and Sekiro.
