Elden Ring, artist reveals the work done for the announcement trailer – Nerd4.life

Gabriel Björk Stiernström has published some in his Artstation artwork showing the workmanship of the announcement trailer of Elden Ring, the highly anticipated new game from FromSoftware, of which nothing is known for sure.

Stiernström also posted a long post on Reddit explaining the work performed: “This was my first job for Digic Pictures and I made this conceptual art two years ago, in January 2019. I had no idea what project I was working on; I just knew who the customer was FromSoftware. I learned about the project and the game when it was shown at E3, like everyone else. This should explain why I know very little about the game.

In short, Stiernström worked almost blindly, so to speak, then explaining that the artworks shown were made for demonstration purposes, to be finally presented to FromSoftware, but only after internal approval.

Stiernström also specified that fans can try to read whatever they want in the artwork, but that he doesn’t actually know anything about Elden Ring itself or FromSoftware’s projects.
