El Shaarawy Shines, Azzurri Wins 6-0

Italy take on Moldova in a friendly match. The Azzurri won a landslide six goals without reply.

The Italy vs Moldova duel took place at the Artemio Franchi, Firenze, Thursday (8/10/2020) in the morning. Italy pressed the visitors from the early minutes.

The new Italian goal tap opened in the 18th minute. Corner kick ball from Giacomo Bonaventura successfully snatched by Bryan Cristante’s header.

Italy increased the advantage to 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Francesco Caputo managed to go head-to-head against the Moldovan goalkeeper and scored a goal smoothly.

Half an hour of action, Italy managed to lead 3-0. Now it’s turn Stephan El Shaarawy who listed his name on the scoreboard after welcoming Cristante’s cross.

Moldova had bad luck in the 37th minute. The fourth goal was born through the suicide of Veaceslav Posmac, who failed to anticipate a long ball from Francesco Acerbi.

Italy has not stopped pressing ahead of halftime. As a result, Cristante’s collaboration with Manuel Lazzari was completed by El Shaarawy. Italy lead 5-0.

Winning five goals to make Italy comfortable playing in the second half. Coach Roberto Mancini even made four substitutions before arriving at the sixth goal in the 72nd minute.
