Abu Dhabi: Eight Asians have been sentenced to prison in the UAE for destroying a restaurant and causing massive damage. The court sentenced the defendants who vandalized the restaurant to three months imprisonment for causing damage of 26,000 dirhams. The court has also ordered the deportation of the accused if they complete their sentence. The Dubai Criminal Court sentenced eight people of Asian origin to prison terms.
The incident related to the case started when he bought cold drinks from the restaurant and tried to leave without paying. The employee then asked him to pay. After this, both of them got into a verbal argument and turned to physical confrontation. But while leaving with the employee without paying, the accused threatened the employee.
Later, he returned to the restaurant along with seven others who were convicted in the case and then the gang used to beat the glass window of the restaurant. The accused tried to run away from the scene, but the police reached the spot and arrested all the eight.
