Egyptian vaccine test to eradicate “corona”

Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Ali, professor of viruses and director of the Center of Scientific Excellence at the National Research Center, announced the arrival of an Egyptian vaccine to eradicate the new corona virus.

“Ali” revealed during his meeting with the “Egypt can” program, broadcast on DMC satellite, the date of launching the vaccine for patients, as he will be discharged from the laboratory within a month from now, and he will be ready for clinical trials and in front of him months that may reach a year until it is available to all patients .

The professor of viruses at the National Research Center stressed that the Egyptian research in this regard is comparable to the rest of the research in the various developed countries amid the available capabilities.

And the Ministry of Health and Population announced, on Wednesday evening, that the number of cases whose laboratory results have shifted from positive to negative for the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) has increased to 40.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the Ministry, revealed that two Egyptians who were infected with the new Corona virus from the isolation hospital, after receiving medical care and completing their recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 28 cases until today Out of the 40 cases whose results have been laboratory-turned from positive to negative.

He pointed out that 14 new cases that proved positive for laboratory analysis of the virus were recorded, including two cases of foreigners and 12 Egyptians, all of whom were in contact with positive cases that had been discovered and announced in advance, as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures in accordance with WHO guidelines.

“Mujahid” said that all registered cases of HIV positive in isolation hospitals are subject to medical care, according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization.
