Cairo, Egypt – November 21, 2023 – Egypt and the United Arab Emirates are bolstering their strategic alliance in the energy sector, with a renewed focus on infrastructure and logistical advancements. Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, recently concluded a visit too the UAE, where he met with officials from Abu Dhabi Ports Group to solidify a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing regional cooperation.

The meeting, held on November 20, 2023, included Ahmed Al -Mutawa, CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Saif Al Mazrouei, Head of the Ports Sector, and Mahmoud Farraj omran, General Manager of TCM project Management.
