Abstract

Fertilization management is one of the methods that together with other forms of control can reduce the severity of some diseases; In the present work, the effect of nitrogen fertilization, using different nitrogen sources, on diseases caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp, Dianthi and Heterodera trifolii G. They were used as nitrogen sources of ammonium phosphate, potassium nitrate and nitron 26, and potassium sulfate as a control. At the end of the test, in addition to the pH variation, the inoculum potential of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp, Dianthi, the number and viability of Heterodera trifolii G. cysts, as well as the number of diseased plants. The results showed that the treatments with potassium nitrate and potassium sulfate increased the pH, while nitron 26 and ammonium phosphate acidified the soil. At the end of the experiment, a smaller number of colonies of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Dianthi in soils treated with sulfate and potassium nitrate. The number of cysts and viability of Heterodera trifolii G. were not affected by the treatments. The highest number of flower stems was obtained with the potassium sulfate treatment and the least with the ammonium phosphate treatment.

Handling the fertilization is one of the methods that among with other controling ways can reduce the strength of some diseases; in this essay it was tested the effeet of the nitrogenated fertilization, using differents nitrogen sources allover the diseases; produced by the Fusarium oxysporum
f. sp. dianthi and Heterodera trifolii G. Ammonium phosphate, potassium nitrate and Nitron 26 were used as nitrogen sources, and potassium sulfate was used as a paterno At the end of the test, beside of the pH variation, it was evaluated the Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi inoculus potential,
the number of eysts and the viability of the Heterodera trifolii GI and the number of siek plants. The results with the potassium nitrate and potassium sulfate treatments, shown that the pH was inereased, while the treatments with Nitron 26 and ammonium sulfate gets the soil more aeid. When the treatments were finished it were seen less number of eolonies of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi in the soils that where treated with potassium sulfate and potassium nitrate. The number of eysts and the viability of the Heterodera trifolii G. were not afected by the treatments. the bigest number of floral stems was obtained with the Potassium sulfate
treatment, and the smaller number with the ammonium sulfate treatment.
