The Rigter Bowl, named after VARA and AVRO DJ Wim Rigter, who died in 2004, was last awarded in 2017. The radio station decided last year, after a year without 3FM Awards, to award this prize again. Anouk, VanVelzen, Ilse DeLange, Miss Montreal, Mr Probz, Dotan and Douwe Bob, among others, received the award earlier.
