Edy Mulyadi did not fulfill the summons of investigators from the Directorate of Cyber ​​Crime Police Criminal Investigation Unit. He argued that the call made by the police was not in accordance with the procedure.

Edy’s presence was only represented by his team of attorneys to deliver a letter requesting a postponement of the examination.

“We are from the legal team of Edy Mulyadi, today he was called at exactly 10 o’clock, coincidentally Mr. Edy Mulyadi could not attend today, there was an obstacle, so today we only delivered a letter to postpone the examination to the Police Headquarters,” said the chairman of the defense team. Islamic Aqidah (TPAI) Herman Kadir at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Friday (28/1).

Herman said that one of the reasons for Edy’s absence was because his party assessed that the summoning process was not in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code.

“So it has to be at least three days, it’s only been two days that there have been summons, the point is that it is not in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code. We ask that the summons be repaired again,” said Herman.

On the other hand, Herman claimed that Edy would be present on the agenda for the next examination if it had been scheduled by investigators.

“God willing, the second call is here,” he said.

For information, this case is related to a video clip of Edy Mulyadi who is arguing about moving the country’s capital city from Jakarta to East Kalimantan.

Edy also satirized the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto. He called the general chairman of the Gerindra Party a meowing tiger.
