HAGENBERG. At the Borg in the former Meierhof, from the school year 2021/22, computer science will be offered as a second branch in addition to the communication branch that has existed since 2002. “The already existing synergies with the facilities of the software park, above all with the technical college and the RISC, can thus be further intensified and expanded”, says Andreas Gärtner, coordinator for communication and IT at Borg.
Due to the special situation – distance learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic – there cannot be an “open day” in the tried and tested style this year. “We decided to set up an online information program for the school year 21/22 via a zoom session,” says Gärtner. The dates for the live information with the possibility of interaction: branch for communication (Tuesday, November 24th, 5:30 p.m.; Thursday, November 26th, 7:00 p.m.), branch for computer science (Tuesday, November 24th, 7:00 p.m.; Thursday, November 26th, 7:00 p.m.) November, 5.30 p.m.).
