– Have a university degree (BAC + 5) or its equivalent in international development, economics or management with proven experience in livelihoods, employment and youth entrepreneurship as well as in skills development focused on market demand, or related areas.
– Have at least 5 years of experience in management and / or technical support to youth livelihood development programs in humanitarian or development contexts with international NGOs.
– Having a strong command of French and Swahili is mandatory in addition to local language skills (Kabare, Kalehe, Walungu, Bukavu and Goma), a level of professional English would be an asset.
– Have good ability to plan and organize work, to write punctual, monthly and quarterly reports on a regular basis.
– Have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and consideration of cultural diversity.
– Have good adaptability and flexibility.
– To be able to commit to self-learning, to reinforcing knowledge through a participatory process.
– Have strong computer skills, particularly MS Office, Outlook and internet explorer.
– Previous experience of working with School Remediation Centers (CRS), Professional Learning Centers (CAP) and socio-professional reintegration and access of young people to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities strongly desired.
– Strong experience of working with appropriate service providers (business circles) for their involvement on quality entrepreneurship and youth employment.
– Ability to write Regular Reports for technical work related to the implementation of training.
– To be able to live without being installed by EDC in Goma, with frequent trips to Walungu, Kabare, Kalehe and Bukavu.
