Edomex will stay at a yellow traffic light for two more weeks: Del Mazo

Upon reaching 75% population coverage with the COVID-19 vaccine, the Mexico state will stay two more weeks in yellow traffic light, within the health emergency, reported the governor Alfredo del Mazo Maza.

“We have been five weeks with a decrease in the rate of infections and in the number of hospitalized, this has allowed us to resume activities, especially in education. This has been possible thanks to the advance in vaccination, where we have worked together with the government of Mexico, the state and municipalities, we have more than 14 million vaccines applied throughout the state.

The governor specified that in the following days the first phase of vaccination of all persons over 18 years of age.
