Cyberpunk showrunner: Edgerunners Rafal Yaki posted some beautiful fan art on social media depicting an “what if …?” Scenario. in one of which David and Lucy get married on the moon. Fans of the series will know that this happy ending is very different from what ends up happening on the show.
Over the course of 10 episodes, the anime explores the couple’s relationship and this fan art represents many of the themes featured in the series.
Since its release, Cyberpunk Edgerunners has continued to dominate the minds of anime and gaming enthusiasts. Netflix anime fans praised the graphics created by Studio Trigger as well as the characters, theme, and overall storyline. The positive reaction to the show is also due to the fact that it is directly related to the tradition and setting of the game. The show’s influence has even revived interest in Cyberpunk: 2077.
Edgerunners’ recent update of the game also includes related content such as clothing, weapons, and other iconic anime content. With the recent announcement of the Phantom Liberty DLC, the game is catching up with a lot of good karma from many players. There is still no official word on Edgerunners’ second season or a release date for the DLC, but fans are thrilled with any other content in the Cyberpunk universe.
